In an international environment,and aspart of our central Export Control team,the Export Control System Manager is combining the Data Analyst, LEAN and Digitalization Guide functions for all Vitesco Locations worldwide. Working in close cooperation with our Export Control teams in the regions, he/shesupports the continued optimization of our internal compliance program by developing appropriate improvement measures and finding ways toefficientlystandardize the way of work for all of us. The Export Control System Manager is equal to an inhouse-consultant for Export Control regarding all process optimizations and the development of a LEAN and Digitalization strategy.

The Export Control Specialist / Classification reports directly to the Head of Export Control and supports them in the constant enhancement of the Internal Compliance Program (ICP) of the Vitesco Technologies group.

Your new responsibilities:

Systems

  • Act as an interface between the Export Control department and various other stakeholders (e.g. IT department) with a view to automating export control processes, developing and implementing in close collaboration with the IT- and other departments effective and efficient IT-solutions for Export Control related topics

  • Manage and oversee the implementation and constant updating of export control requirements and provisions in the group-wide Export Control IT solution

  • Identify Export Control relevance of IT architecture, processes and IT solutions and define Export Control requirements to ensure Export Control compliance

  • Development and implement company-wide guidelines and standards with a view to IT-solutions for Export Control processes and ensure relevant stakeholders adhered to such rules

  • Manage the implementation, maintenance and enhancement of data analytics and risk analysis tools

Compliance Operations

  • Advice on business decisions based on advanced analysis of all known data and information to allocate resources, improve efficiencies and support business operations together with internal and external interfaces

  • Ensure in cooperation with the central Master Data Governance Team that relevant information, such as screening results, are adequately stored

Data Analytics

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide a consistent and comprehensive picture to various stakeholders on Export Control related data

  • Analyze large datasets, draw valid conclusions, to support an adequate understanding of risks within the various groups of decision-makers

  • Conduct Data-Driven Risk Analysis based on the requirements of the internal compliance program

  • Define new patterns and rules to identify risks

  • Identify risks and define the needed mitigating actions

Process optimization

  • Establish an internal knowledge base on Export Control and make relevant stakeholders aware that they can use this to inform and educate themselves independently

  • Design and lead workshops to identify untapped potential and improve processes

  • Develop and establish a strategy for the continuous improvement of export control processes based on the internal compliance program in combination with e.g. LEAN methods

LEAN & Digitalization

  • Manage LEAN projects to constantly enhance the efficiency of the Export Control related processes within our organization in close relation with our LEAN coaches and community

  • Develop andstrategicallyestablish a LEAN mindset and competences within our Export Control organization and the various stakeholders outside the Export Control organization in close relation with our VT LEAN coaches and community

  • Develop and establish a digital strategy, including, for example, researching digital solutions available on the market, supporting automation initiatives, as well ascoaching and providing necessary guidance to our Export control community via market innovation practice

  • Manage and explore digitalization and integration solutions within our Export Control organization by utilizing automation tools, systems, etc.

Your Profile:

  • Successfully completed studies in business informatics, business administration or a comparable qualification

  • Long-term professional experience in Logistic, Purchasing, Sales or similar area

  • Professional experience abroad

  • Knowledge in Export Control regulations and requirements desirable

  • Knowledge related to LEAN methods and Digitalization

  • Business Fluent German and English language skills spoken and written

  • Very good MS office 365 skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI

  • Very good knowledge in new digital solutions

  • Very good knowledge of SAP

  • Knowledge and experience in data analytics

  • Knowledge of MIC desirable

  • Comfortable in presenting reports in leadership setting

  • Good problem-solving and findings solutions, basic IT-understanding, strong analytical and conceptual skills

  • Attention to detail and completing work with high degree of accuracy

  • The ability to derive knowledge from information and the joy of exchanging experiences

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

  • Capability dealing with complex and conflicting situations
