Ax Now Project Coordinator to Service Techs; Plumbing, Electrical, etc. in Oak Park, Michigan
National retail facility service company with over 20 YEARS OF SERVICE seeks a motivated individual for a Service Dispatcher/Project Coordinator as an integral part of our team! You will select and dispatch Service Technicians to perform Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, and other trades for repairs to national retail store facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Accept and enter customer jobs into our system.
- Assign projects to appropriate technicians based on geography and trade.
- Perform light troubleshooting with service technicians and recording all details.
- Searching for and vetting possible technicians where needed.
- Assist in maintaining and organizing workflow of client orders.
- Work with team members to share and update project details.
- Learn and implement tasks of others as needed.
Qualifications:
VERY HELPFUL:
- Previous experience or knowledge in the following CONSTRUCTION fields:
- Plumbing: Drains, Toilets, Water Heaters, Valves.
- Electrical: Circuits, Lighting, lamps and ballasts.
- Carpentry: Flooring/tiles, drywall, doors, painting/finishes.

- Knowledge of other types of construction is a plus.
Experience in a fast-paced environment a plus.
$12-$18/hour to train/start. Raises after 1st review <4wks. Salary paid in full weekly; 1099 emp.
