Job Description Primary Objective and Scope The Shopify Plus Developer will be in charge of the development and maintenance of our furniture eCommerce site. Which involves developing custom Shopify Plus themes and templates, as well as implementing and maintaining Shopify applications and integrations to enhance site functionality and user experience. Essential Functions and Accountabilities Develop custom Shopify Plus themes, templates, and features to meet the specific needs of our furniture eCommerce siteCustomize existing themes and templates to meet requirementsImplement and maintain Shopify applications and integrations to enhance site functionality and improve user experienceCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the website's design and user interface align with our brand identity and customer expectationsOptimize website performance, including page load speed, mobile responsiveness, accessibility, and overall user experienceTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors to ensure the website functions smoothly at all timesStay updated on the latest Shopify features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve our eCommerce siteConduct quality assurance testing to identify and address any usability or functionality issues before deploying updates or new featuresProvide technical support and assistance to other team members as needed Requirements Knowledge & Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldProven experience as a Shopify Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful Shopify projects2-5 years of experience with Shopify Plus developmentProficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with Liquid templating languageDeep understanding of Shopify platform capabilities, including theme customization, app development, and API integrationsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficientlyExperience with responsive web design principles and techniques to ensure optimal performance across all devicesFamiliarity with SEO best practices and eCommerce analytics toolsKnowledge of Platform as a Service middleware technologies like Heroku
