Weber State University Assistant Registrar I in OGDEN, Utah
The Assistant Registrar for Degree Progress provides strategic direction,program development,and assessment for assigned areas. Maintains primary responsibility for Ellucian DegreeWorks degree evaluation tool. Programs all curriculum changes using SQL programming language,reviews proposed curriculum changes and provides implementation feedback,provides training to end users,and manages exceptions access. Manages testing and configuration of DegreeWorks upgrades. Troubleshoots defects and questions with end users and manages CatTracks email account. This position maintains University Catalog and publishes annually. Coordinates monthly curriculum review with University Curriculum Committee chair and Registrar. Reviews proposed curriculum changes and provides implementation feedback. Provides catalog updates to external partners and is responsible for university catalog software. Utilizes curriculum software to export new and updated curriculum into the university catalog software and the student information system. Serves on committees as assigned at the division and institutional level,and completes special projects as assigned. This position may be responsible for supervision of hourly and / or professional staff.
