Are you passionate about driving innovation in data analytics? The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) invites you to become a key player in our data science and analytics team. We collaborate closely with our government partners to provide key insights to the program. In this pivotal role, you'll be integral in organizing, cleansing, and analyzing key program data using cutting edge techniques. This includes deriving key insights from telemetry data, corelating structured and unstructured data from various sources, trend and anomaly detection of both systems and logistics data, and data visualization in various formats. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
Minimum 2 years of related experience (5 or more preferred)
Expertise with multiple data analysis tools and methods
A solid understanding of statistical analysis, data wrangling, data visualization and programming
Experience with modeling and machine learning
The ability to derive key insights from a vast amount of data and limited data
The ability to correlate heterogenous data, perform anomaly detection and trend analysis and derive key insights from various types of data sets
Expertise with data visualization using tools and code
Strong interpersonal skills, ensuring a clear understanding and alignment of technological solutions with business needs
Advanced problem-solving abilities and analytical skills for addressing complex challenges and devising innovative and effective solutions
Must be able to work effectively independently, as part of a team, and work with partners
US citizenship required along with the ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Government security clearance
Some travel may be required
Preferred Qualifications:
A strong foundation in working with unstructured data using machine learning or other techniques
The ability to code libraries, plugins or reusable components for data analysis and visualization
Experience with cloud computing data strategies
Have a current U.S. Government security clearance
