Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center CHMC - TREATMENT COORDINATOR in Ogdensburg, New York
Assess and treat individuals with mental, emotional, or substance abuse problems, including abuse of alcohol, tobacco, and/or other drugs. Activities may include individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, client advocacy, prevention, and education. Must maintain current CPR certification. Tasks include: -Collaborate with counselors, physicians, and nurses to plan and coordinate treatment, drawing on social work experience and patient needs. The following knowledges are required: -Psychology -Knowledge of growth and development across life span, ability to use that knowledge to individualize the plan & delivery of care.
