Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector (NGDS) is currently seeking a Contract Administrator to join the Lifecycle Sustainment & Modernization Solutions Operating Unit in Oklahoma City, OK. This position requires excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be a team player, proactive, will possess good analytical skills, will demonstrate problem-solving skills, and will be detail-oriented.

Responsibilities :

Interfaces with customers and business partners, conducting proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and contract administration

Examines proposal requirements and estimates, prepares bids, analyzes terms and conditions to evaluate risk, accuracy, and completeness to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications

Processes contractual documentation and reports, advises management of contractual rights and obligations, compiles and analyzes data, and maintains historical information

Facilitates proper shipment, billing, and payment collection for deliveries, interfacing with DCMA or customer as required via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF)

Prepares weekly and monthly reports and maintains the contracts databases in the Corporate Contracts Management System (CMS)

Basic Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED with at least 7 years of business or administrative experience

  • Will consider 3 years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 1 year of experience with a master’s degree

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products

  • Ability to collaborate with program management and other multi-functional teams

  • Ability to multi-task and make sound decisions in a timely manner

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a very fast paced environment

  • Ability to learn new systems quickly

  • Applicant must be a self-starter with excellent analytical and communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize workload

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Self-starter with excellent analytical and communication skills, the ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize work load

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance

  • Prior working experience with FAR/DFARS and/or DoD Contracting

Salary Range: $59,000 - $88,400

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
