Purchasing Administrator Pay:\$15/hr. Hours:Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM Job type:Temp to Hire Location:Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Benefits:401(k), 401(k) matching, Dental insurance, Employee discount, Health insurance, Paid time off, Vision insurance. Job Description: This position will assist with a variety of tasks including but not limited to: answering phone calls, submitting purchase orders, processing returns and warranties with vendors, resolving discrepancies, etc Responsibilities:
- Assist with answering phones and relaying messages accordingly.
- Assist customers as needed if the sales team is busy.
- Work with the owner to submit purchase orders to vendors.
- Manage and maintain purchasing records.
- Coordinate with the warehouse department to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Research and resolve inventory discrepancies as necessary.
- Contact vendors for replacements or credits on warranties and discrepancies.
- Keep up to date spreadsheets on progress/status.
- Communicate and coordinate with staff in regard to cycle counts.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of purchasing functions, inventory, and supply management systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred.
- Attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
