Nielsen PC Support Team Leader (00002) in Oldsmar, Florida

DESCRIPTION

Provide hardware and software support to internal and field company users. Set up equipment for employee use, performing installation of operation systems and appropriate software. Configure, deploy, troubleshoot and inventory desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices and peripherals. Install, modify, and repair software and hardware as needed. Provide technical support for Microsoft Windows, G Suite, Microsoft Office and custom applications. Monitor computer system performance and collaborate with PC support team members to resolve internet, intranet and VPN connection issues. Unlock user accounts and reset passwords. Manage incoming support requests in custom issue tracking software. Track IT-related expenditures and assist with budget analysis. Provide guidance and feedback to junior-level PC support team members. Telecommuting permitted three (3) days per week from within Oldsmar, FL area.

QUALIFICATIONS

Associate’s degree (foreign equivalent degree acceptable) in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field and two (2) years of experience in an operations or IT support role. Prior experience must include two (2) years in/with: Managing projects using Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or JIRA (Goal setting, planning, prioritization, negotiation and delegation); Google Workspace for Business (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Drive, Meet) or Microsoft 365 Office Suite for Business (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Publisher, OneNote); troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft Windows Enterprise. Prior experience must include one (1) year in/with: working in a technical support environment; supporting and maintaining PC hardware imaging using Hyper V and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit; analyzing and utilizing performance metrics and reports to manage team performance; computer imaging and security concepts including white listing, security patching and updating with Tanium and Active Directory; CapEx and OpEx budget analysis and forecasting for IT operations-related; developing and reviewing spreadsheet reports in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and Looker Studio. Telecommuting permitted three (3) days per week from within the Oldsmar, FL area. M-F, 40 hours a week.
