Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and goal-oriented Solar Sales Representative to join our team. As a Solar Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling solar energy systems to residential and commercial customers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to educate customers about the benefits of solar energy, provide personalized solutions, and help them save money on their energy bills.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Previous experience in sales, preferably in the renewable energy industry

· Strong knowledge of solar energy systems and their components

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Proficiency in using CRM software to manage customer relationships and sales pipelines

· Availability to travel within a designated sales territory and attend industry events as needed.

· Clean driving record.

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment and various warehouse locations and conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. Standard work week is Monday through Friday, open 6am to 7pm. Extended hours and overtime may be necessary, especially during the 4th quarter.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee may occasionally lift or move warehouse products and supplies, up to 70 pounds.

Essential Job Functions:

Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our solar energy products and services

Generate leads and identify potential customers through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, and online platforms

Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with customers to assess their energy needs and provide customized solar solutions

Educate customers about the benefits of solar energy and the financial savings they can achieve

Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and financing options to customers

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and successful installation of solar energy systems

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-ups
