Summary

Assists the Assembly Supervisor with maintaining production and communication among the Assembly Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Assist the Assembly supervisor and liaison with management of production.

Informs supervisor of personnel, performance, and quality issues, and supports resolution of ongoing issues.

Assists with job assignments.

Mentor and train new employees.

Plan and communicate for effective setups.

Tends machines, such as a hydraulic press, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.

Works at different workstations as production needs require.

QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge of product line, production orders, LN System, and clearing shortages is preferred.
