VCA American River Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to complement our talented team in Orangevale, California.

We are an AAHA-accredited, 3-4 doctor practice, delivering high quality medicine and excellent service. Electronic medical records, full in house lab with Antech reference laboratory. Ultrasound and digital x-ray. Fully equipped dental suite. On-site boarding facility. Collaborative and fun working environment. Great clientele. Close to multiple referral hospitals for specialty or ER care.

Seeking Full time (4 days/week) or Part time (2-3 days/week) position. Open 6 days a week (Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, Sat 9am-5pm), no on-call hours. Flexible schedule options available.

Orangevale is a mix of small town/rural feel but close to the city. Located about 30 minutes east of downtown Sacramento, next to Folsom, short drive to Lake Tahoe. Right next to Lake Folsom and the American River for lots of great outdoor activities to do.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $66,560 - $180K. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
