Aerotek Machine Repair Technician - 2nd - 37.12/hr. in Oregon, Ohio

Job Title: Machine Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Description

As a Machine Technician, you will perform various tasks related to the repair and maintenance of machinery. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting from wiring diagrams and blueprints, working with industrial electricity, and general electric tasks such as installing conduits and outlets. You will also handle electrical mechanical motor controls, hydraulic circuits, and mechanical drive systems including gears, sprockets, chains, belts, bearings, and rollers. Additionally, you will possess general fabrication skills in welding, torching, machining, piping, and threading. Your role involves performing repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance on equipment, fixtures, and systems, as well as providing support in the daily maintenance of automated equipment based on dispatched service or daily/weekly work schedules.

Additional Information/Pay/Shift:

  • Shift: 2nd shift schedule is from 3:00pm to 11:00pm, Monday through Friday, with current mandatory Saturdays due to high demand.

  • Pay: $37.12 per hour with an additional $0.50 premium for the 2nd shift.

  • Provides uniforms and tool allowance.

  • Techs will get $350 their first year and $500 after that.
