Nexeo Staffing Technical Maintenance Mechanic in OREM, Utah
Nexeo HR is looking for an experienced Technical Maintenance Mechanic. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a food production environment and have a working knowledge of vertical form-filling machines (VFF),hydraulics systems,and troubleshooting general machinery.
Responsibilities
Diagnose,repair,and maintain a variety of machinery and systems utilized in food production,ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Oversee production lines,ensuring all machines operate efficiently and smoothly.
Possess a comprehensive understanding of pouch-filling machines,cappers,labelers,and both pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Conduct regular preventative maintenance and service checks on machinery to ensure proper functionality and identify potential issues.
Accurately document any issues encountered and adjustments made to equipment for future reference and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Must have 3 years of prior maintenance mechanic experience.
Must have 2 years of post-secondary education or industry certification in HVAC,PLC Programming,or Electronics.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand & bend most of the shift.
Ability to read and interpret building drawings and diagrams.
Respiratory protection certifiable,is required.
Pay
$20.00 - $30.00 Per Hour
Schedule
Day shift | 7:00am - 3:00pm
