Orlando Psychiatric Assoc Inc Front Desk Receptionist in Orlando, Florida

Job description: Front Desk Receptionist Psychiatric Office seeks Front Desk person with previous medical office experience to handle front desk duties in the office.

DAILY TASKS include but are not limited to: Professionally greeting patients for appointments and confirming their information. Scheduling and confirming appointments for the Physician or other Providers. Gathering paperwork required from the patient. Check-in / Check-out procedures. Ensuring insurance verification is achieved. Collecting co-payments and coinsurance amounts from patients. Answering phone calls, text messages and emails on a daily basis. Faxing, scanning, and data entry. Achieving Medical Records requests. Assisting with Interpretation (English/Spanish) when applicable. Multitasking and Flexibility of various clerical duties.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Experience in working in a medical office setting with a Minimum of 1 yr. experience (with theunderstanding of HIPAA laws). Applicant must have the ability to multitask and have a working knowledge of insurance terminologyand claims processes. Applicant must be polished and have a professional appearance and demeanor. Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, spreadsheets) Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with EHR/EMR systems Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred. High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience: Medical office: 1 year (Preferred) Front desk: 1 Language: English with Spanish Preferred Work Location: In person/ in office Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work

Salary:From $17.00 per hour (depends on experience)

Schedule:8-hour shift Monday to Friday
