Lockheed Martin HPC DevSecOps Engineer/ Level 3/ Onsite, Orlando, FL/ Secret Clearance in Orlando, Florida

Description: A DevSecOps position focused on the development of applications, tools, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for the High Performance Computing (HPC) team to connect developers and engineers to supercomputing capabilities, maximizing the multi-level security (MLS) user experience to streamline efficiency and processing uptime.

This position has high customer engagement and will work with engineers, developers, and scientists across multiple departments to deliver new capabilities in the HPC system. This involves developing applications for end users and working with the IT Systems Engineers to build the infrastructure necessary to scale it. Candidates are not expected to have all the desired skills, but should be passionate in learning and growing the skills needed.

Clearance is not required to start but the candidate must be able to obtain one and the customer's acceptance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, and customers' acceptance

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security+, CISSP, or other IAT Level II/III security certification

• Experience with modern Front End web application frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or others

• Experience with building and designing modern REST Application Programming Interfaces (API) and their specifications.

• Experience with database administration and usage such as SQL, Postgres or MySQL.

• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or Helm

• Experience with version control such as Git.

• Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines.

Desired Skills:

• Active Top Secret security clearance (investigation within the past 6 years)

• Experience with Linux operating systems such as RHEL or Rocky

• Experience with Typescript, Node and Go

• Experience with developing of data heavy user interfaces.

• Experience with modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind, Bootstrap, SASS, SCSS.

• Experience with virtualization such as VMWare.

• Understanding of Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) and integration of SSO with JWT, JWE, LDAP, SAML, OAuth, and etc.

• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, RKE2, Singularity/Apptainer).

• IaC experience with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Pulumi, or others

• Scripting ability to support system management such as with Python, Bash, PowerShell.

• Understanding of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity best practices

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
