Your Opportunity as the Senior Analyst, Internal Audit Take part in the success of our internal audit and controls testing for the entire Smucker Enterprise! Participate in audit planning, risk assessments, identifying issues, and developing remediation plans. Location: Orrville, OH Work Arrangements: Hybrid, 30% in-office expectation (every Tuesday and every other Thursday) In this role you will: Conduct internal audits related to internal controls over financial reporting as well as operational audits, which include: Plan the scope of audit procedures. Fieldwork coordination with audit team and process owners. Lead execution of audit procedures; ensure that testing is completed on schedule and documented in compliance with IIA standards. Identification of risk-relevant control deficiencies and communicate deficiencies to process owners along with documentation of issues. Perform substantive testing, cycle count and physical inventory observations, and other items in support of department initiatives as well as in support of external auditors. Facilitate audit meetings with internal and external business partners. Identify opportunities for automation and analytical procedures throughout audits or reviews. Maintain comprehensive internal audit evidence and work papers by following departmental and IIA standards. Stay current on new techniques and trends in the audit profession and recommend those applicable to the Company. What we are looking for: Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or business administration 2+ years of accounting or auditing experience Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Products (i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point) Analytical skills and strong technical ability within internal controls Ability to multi-task and effectively handle multiple concurrent assignments with attention to detail Willingness to travel approximately 5-10% annually Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role: Manufacturing or Consumer Packaged Goods experience a plus Professional designation or progress towards a certification Learn more about working at Smucker: Follow us on #LI-KK1 #LI-Hybrid The J.
