Aerotek Forklift Operator in Ottawa, Ontario
Job Description
Our new Forklift Operator will be responsible for receiving shipments, stocking shelves, picking customer orders, preparing online orders for pick up, and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse. The role involves handling of small parts by hand, with the use of a pallet jacket, dolly or forklift for heavier items. The Forklift Operator will also assist with loading large customer orders at the loading docks when necessary.
Hard Skills
1+ year of warehouse order picking experience
1+ year of forklift experience
6+ months of experience with an RF scanner or tablet
Soft Skills
Ability to work in a team

Good organizational skills
Work Environment
Our warehouse maintains a comfortable work environment with a team of 10, ensuring everyone has their own space. The working hours are Monday to Friday, with a day shift from 7:30 to 4:30, no weekends or evenings. We provide an hour for lunch and two fifteen-minute breaks. The warehouse is equipped with a lunch room, washrooms/change rooms, a coffee machine, and a popcorn machine for your convenience.
