Our team in Owatonna, MN is seeking a HR Operations Coordinator to contribute to Wenger Corporation's strategy of providing an exceptional customer experience by contributing to creating a positive workplace by supporting a wide variety of HR Operational functions including, benefits, payroll, policies, and compliance. At a minimum you will need: Required: Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related from a 2-year college or technical school; bachelor's degree is preferred. Required: 2 years' experience in a relevant HR or Administrative role. Required: 2 years' experience using an HRIS and ATS software. Required: Strong ability in using Microsoft Office Suite. A typical day might include: Maintains and accurately updates employee records in HRIS. Assists with payroll administration. Support weekly payroll processes. Assists with timecard data audits for completeness and accuracy. Assists with missed payroll deductions and works with the team members on a payback schedule. Supports audits of payroll, benefits or other HR-related programs. Responds to payroll-related questions and concerns. Assists with Leave of Absence coordination. Assists with health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Supports benefit processes including HRIS updates, documentation, and audits. Provides necessary benefit surge support for New Hire Orientation, Open-Enrollment, and other benefit related events. Reconciles benefits invoices. Responds to benefit-related questions and concerns. Coordinates the COBRA process with our third-party administrator. Supports Wellness Program administration, communication, and reconciliation. Coordinate policy acknowledgements in HRIS. Processes OSHA and BLS reports. Provides surge support for Worker's Compensation case filing and audits. Coordinates electronic and hard copy employment files and implements filing transition process. Supports and administers to HR systems wide file access in SharePoint. Answers internal and external HR-related queries and requests. Supports the HR Team in educating employees and enforcing company policies. Assists or prepares correspondence as requested. Sorts incoming HR mail. Redirects team members to the appropriate member of the HR Team regarding HR related questions and concerns. Provide administrative surge support. Adheres to all workplace and trade safety laws, regulations, standards, and practices.
