What do you get to do in this position? Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and champion the quality efforts within a specific functional area value stream
- Analyzing quality processes of internal processes (PFMEA, Process Control Plans, MSA, capability studies)
- Provide guidance and mentorship to quality inspectors and support staff
- Develop and implement quality fundamentals programs to enhance overall quality performance
- Drive initiatives related to PFMEA, corrective actions, and process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product quality and reliability
- Utilize your expertise in ISO principles to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
- Take the initiative to drive projects independently and lead quality-related initiatives
- Be willing to travel to other plants as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- 5+ years of professional experience in supplier quality or quality function
- Proven experience in quality engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or process-oriented field
- Expertise in PFMEA, corrective action, and driving continuous improvement
- Strong understanding of ISO principles and quality management systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and drive quality initiatives
- Good knowledge of QMS, PPAP, Problem solving tools, Auditing
- Eager to learn, adapt and be flexible
- Strong Communication and ability to influence skills
