What do you get to do in this position? Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and champion the quality efforts within a specific functional area value stream
  • Analyzing quality processes of internal processes (PFMEA, Process Control Plans, MSA, capability studies)
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to quality inspectors and support staff
  • Develop and implement quality fundamentals programs to enhance overall quality performance
  • Drive initiatives related to PFMEA, corrective actions, and process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product quality and reliability
  • Utilize your expertise in ISO principles to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
  • Take the initiative to drive projects independently and lead quality-related initiatives
  • Be willing to travel to other plants as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in supplier quality or quality function
  • Proven experience in quality engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or process-oriented field
  • Expertise in PFMEA, corrective action, and driving continuous improvement
  • Strong understanding of ISO principles and quality management systems
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and drive quality initiatives
  • Good knowledge of QMS, PPAP, Problem solving tools, Auditing
  • Eager to learn, adapt and be flexible
  • Strong Communication and ability to influence skills
