TAMPICO Bottling Company Machine Operator in Palestine, Texas
Primary Responsibilities o*ther duties may be assigned *
Operation and cleaning of manufacturing equipment and perform manual tasks. Manually handle, weigh and add ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work areas and perform other housekeeping/sanitation tasks as assigned. Perform all required inventory transactions for material usage tracking and process tracking, on paper and electronically. Perform required preventive maintenance and minor repairs. Report all issues (safety, quality, technical, logistic), or any other issues to supervisors. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety Preventive Actions, Quality Policy, Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and Safety policies. Manufacture, process, pack, or hold clean and safe food as appropriate to the assigned duties. Participate in the development and improvement of SOP Participate in multi-disciplinary team and/or task force as needed
Good mathematical aptitudes
- Ability to work overtime and to be flexible with schedule worked hours
- Punctuality and good attendance
- Conscientious and able to follow instructions precisely
- Mechanical experience or aptitude or inclination
Working Conditions
- Work in a manufacturing environment
- Manufacturing plant environments may be hot, humid, noisy and dusty
- Position required to work varying shifts and weekend at times to support project execution requirements
Physical Demands
- Able to stand or sit for prolonged hours
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to climb stairs
