The General Services Project Coordinator will focus on supporting the business continuity, operations transition and superior patient experience by conducting the following through all project phases: documenting business processes, complex quantitative analysis, managing project logistics, and monitoring the success of projects goals.

Essential Functions

Must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the hospital’s policies and procedures, including its Service Standards and its Code of Conduct.

  • Coordinates and prepares a wide range of logistic support throughout project, including: Meeting set-up, documentation, material compilation, distributing meeting minutes, and tracking follow-up items.

  • Support project teams in structuring work and agreed upon key deliverables. Tracks project completion status and updates teams on key deliverables. Informs teams on upcoming milestones, deadlines, and other key dates.

  • Updates and maintains databases with documents and other relevant project materials. Manages database access as needed.

  • Analyzes data and conducts root cause analysis as necessary throughout the course of the project. Presents up to date results of projects progress for the Engineering & Maintenance Leadership team.

  • Serves as a resource to identify and research best practices, project data, and other supportive documentation for various healthcare related projects and topics. Brainstorms with Engineering & Maintenance leadership throughout course of projects.

  • Assists the Engineering & Maintenance operational team members in the development, documentation, and execution of standard work and Engineering & Maintenance projects to improve department efficiencies. Participates in building team engagement activities, project development, project scope definition and deliverables that meet the departmental goals.

  • Works with various departments, including shared services teams, and key stakeholders to understand departmental workflows and identify any overlap that could exist with the Engineering & Maintenance Department or Facilities. Documents and develop standard work or necessary flowcharts in collaboration with the Engineering & Maintenance team members.

  • Identifies opportunities for process efficiency and uses synergies from other projects to design creative solutions for the Engineering & Maintenance department functionality.

  • Collaborates with, and provides recommendations to, leaders in General Services related to project strategy to ensure quick response and customer satisfaction.

  • Assists managers with the onboarding of new hires and schedules cross-training with other Engineering & Maintenance staff members as appropriate. Assists in developing standardized onboarding processes for General Services. Serves as back up to the CMMS Analyst for training Engineering & Maintenance staff as well as to other hospital employees on the Maintenance Connection platform.

  • Performs weekly rounds with Leaders and Engineering & Maintenance staff on a regular basis, to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • As needed, oversees the shipping and receiving for Engineering & Maintenance including the tool room for inventory control. Informs of any shortage of key parts or basic equipment used by the Engineering & Maintenance team for repairs and assists with restocking.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

    Education: Associate Degree in a related field.

    Experience: Three (3) years of progressively responsible work related to the position

Pay Range

Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.

Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.

Minimum to Midpoint Range (1.0 FTE): $79,456.00 to $105,300.00
