The Field Clinical Manager, Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies, supports a team of Field Clinical Specialists driving procedural success, directs the daily operations of the team and coordinates with a cross functional team including Research and Development, Clinical, PACE, Quality, and others to ensure therapy adoption by customers, safe patient outcomes, meaningful device iteration feedback, best in class customer education and ultimately, successful commercialization.

A Day in the Life

• Manage and direct the daily operations of the Therapy Development team for clinical trial case support.

• Monitor, guide, and coach remote direct reports to achieve enrolment targets, improve skills and productivity, and build sustainable customer relationships.

• Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure adequate ancillary case support availability, delivery of industry leading physician training in accordance with local regulations, support of on-site training/in-servicing for local hospital physicians, nurses, techs and staff.

• Assist in budget management, forecast creation, achieve revenue and expense goals.

• Partner with Clinical, Quality, and the field team to ensure customer and device complaints are reported and resolved in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with Medical Education function to ensure the field team follows procedural best practices, are current on all imaging modalities (echo, CT, angiography), receive training on current and future device iterations, and stay up to date on relevant published data for both Medtronic and its competitors.

• Perform field evaluations and provide on-going constructive feedback to improve individual performance.

• Manage corporate resources, including demo product, simulators, and imaging equipment, direct allocation of those resources and team members globally.

Must Haves

• Degree in Engineering, Life-Science, Marketing, Business Administration, Biology or another advanced degree

• Excellent influencing and consulting skill

• Ability to manage in remote self-structured environment

• Experience developing and managing an operational budget

• Previous direct people management

• Ability to travel with overnight stay up to 75% of the time (geography variability)

• Strong work ethic in accomplishing objectives of the position

• Ability to coordinate/participate in numerous tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment in an organized manner while meeting deadlines

• Effectively build and maintain positive relationships with direct reports, peers and colleagues across organizational levels and functions
