Description Robert Half has partnered with a prominent company to find an experienced, organized Network Administrator to join their growing team. To be successful in this role, you should have a can-do attitude and be an organized problem solver who is passionate about ensuring and maintaining a stable network infrastructure. Supporting the business, you will develop, administer and maintain the network infrastructure by making sure the enterprise systems and related components are secure, have integrity, and are highly available. You should be comfortable working with constantly changing software, hardware, network security programs, and data storage systems. Your commitment to staying up to date and fully informed through ongoing education is vital. This Network Administrator role, located in the Pasadena, Texas, area is a permanent opportunity.
What you get to do every day
Administering control measures for LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam
Investigating and solving problems related to local area networks / wide area network performance, connectivity and related issues
Adhering to company policies and procedures to administer the operation of all local area networks / wide area network related services
Arranging and performing network software and hardware upgrades Requirements - Knowledgeable of network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations
5+ years of related experience
Previous experience with production and on-call environments
Solid understanding of IP Routing
Experience with MS Windows Server 2012
Network Routing experience
Azure Active Directory experience
ADFS experience
Highly capable of troubleshooting, analyzing and diagnosing issues Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
