Job Description Summary This positions is responsible for performing routine and non-routine work throughout the plant facilities installing, servicing, repairing, and replacing as needed various electrical components or systems. This individual competently maintains the plant electrical systems in a manner that optimizes and sustains equipment operation and reliability to assure an uninterrupted processing of quality potato products. Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned. * Maintains and promotes safe work practices at all times, assures that safe work practices are being followed in all work groups, and actively participates in safety programs. * Perform assigned duties and responsibilities in a safe and satisfactory manner. * Must understand and comply with all known posted or generally accepted instructions, procedures, rules, practices, policies or other items covered in the Employee Handbook. * Is competent in performing corrective and preventive maintenance including the lubrication and inspection of equipment within scope of responsibility to sustain and improve equipment reliability. * Competently performs the safe isolation, shut down, inspection, adjustment, repair/overhaul or startup of equipment and systems within scope of responsibility with the mindset to identify defects, identify the reason for the failure, and then take corrective action to eliminate a recurring failure. * Works closely with the Electrical Maintenance Team Lead to achieve all department goals. * Competent in connecting power supply wires to panels, components, and equipment. Competently connects cables and wires between panels, components and equipment. * Competent in installing and maintaining wiring, Motor Control Centers (MCC's), bus duct, conduit and electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code. * Competently diagnose, repair, replace, enter, re-enter or program device parameters for faulty electrical/electronic control components or equipment such as but not limited to transformers, motors, lighting fixtures, relays, switches, sensors, probes, VFD's, HMI's, PLC's, instrumentation and other devices. * Assist other work groups, specialists, outside resources and contractors with the troubleshooting, adjustment, repair, replacement, modification, maintenance, rebuilding and installation of components, equipment, piping, etc., as directed. * Participates in and helps drive DMS (Daily Management System) and other systems and programs as assigned. * Documents corrective maintenance an To view the full job description,
