Assistant Project Manager
We are seeking a dedicated Project Management Assistant for a direct placement position through Aerotek. This role involves supporting project managers in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.
Technical Skills:
Regularly visits jobsites and attends meetings.
Maintains communication with GCs and owners.
Tracks and communicates project schedules.
Manages procurement and ensures timely delivery of equipment and materials.
Provides Foreman with necessary plans and documentation.
Reviews contracts to understand scope of work.
Tracks RFIs and notifies of cost impacts.
Issues and documents change orders.
Ensures start-up and closeout processes are completed effectively.
Reviews job cost reports and manages labor-material costs.
Attends meetings and provides job updates.
Trains junior Project Managers and Foremen.
Relationships and Business Development:
- Builds and maintains relationships with vendors, subcontractors, GCs, and owners.
General Workplace Items:
Represents the company professionally.
Improves processes and establishes standard work procedures.
Keeps workspace and company truck clean and organized.
Provides adequate notice for days off and is accountable.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $40.00/hr.
