Job Overview:
Under the direction of the Vice President of Physician Services, the Executive Director of Medical Group Operations is responsible for directing the overall practice/clinic operations that support the strategic objectives specific to the Physician Enterprise. The Executive Director’s key focus is to implement strategies relating to the development and management of a strong provider network, consistent and standardized processes across all service locations to allow for the delivery of high quality clinical services, and an exceptional patient experience. Strategies to create an environment that fosters positive physician, patient, and employee relationships.
Qualifications
Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Masters Degree in health care administration or closely related field and seven to ten years of work related experience.
Work requires analytical ability to collect information from diverse sources and apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems.
Requires the ability to oversee and direct other members of management across multiple locations.
Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians and other leaders.
