Insight Global Quality Engineering Manager in Peachtree Corners, Georgia

Job Description

A partner of Insight Global is looking for a quality engineering manager to join their solar cell manufacturing plant in Norcross, GA. We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to ensure the manufacturing production lines run smoothly and generate a consistently suitable output of Photovoltaic cells that meet quality and efficiency standards. The Quality Engineer will work in the following domains of manufacturing: incoming material, process control, product evaluation, and reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality. The Quality Engineering Manager will respond to production issues by pursuing and implementing solutions while supporting the vision, mission, and guiding principles of Suniva.

Skills and Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Quality, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role in a manufacturing environment.

* Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and Lean Six Sigma.

* Experience with advanced statistics, statistical process control, statistical analysis software, and design of experiment methods.

* High Competency in Process Improvement.

* Experience with a variety of inspection techniques.

* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to develop innovative solutions to improve quality.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Skills.

* Solid people skills with a positive attitude and ability to treat all team members respectfully.

* Excellent organizational and planning skills.

* Ability to think outside the box and develop unique and timely solutions. null
