Church Lake Farm Ag. Equipment Operator in Pennock, Minnesota
Need 4 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work in Pennock, MN. From: 03/15/2025 - 11/30/2025 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. Must Apply By: 07/24/2025 JOB DESCRIPTION: Operate and maintain farm machinery such as tractors and combines to perform farm activities such as planting, cultivation, harvesting of crops corn, soybeans and alfalfa. Workers will drive tractors installed with GPS and operate designated towing equipment, drills, disks, and drags to furrow and prepare the soil, seed and fertilize. Haul materials, supplies or crops to designated locations. Routine maintenance will be done on equipment and grounds. All work-related tools, supplies and equipment provided by the employer at no cost to worker. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have Three (3) months of experience. Class D Driver's License, and exposure to extreme temperatures, pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping or bending over and repetitive movements. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
