DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will determine appropriate steps/method to accomplish required duties efficiently and correctly. You will be responsible for independently assessing materials and estimating costs for projects, while also keeping detailed records of project progress and expenses.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment

  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

  • Dual shifts, overtime, and travel may be required. Work hours subject to seasonal change.

  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1;or

  • Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades;or

  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

    Special Requirement:

  • This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.

Additional Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications (not required):

  • Previous experience performing general maintenance and repair tasks.

  • Previous experience following general safety guidelines.

  • Previous cost estimation experience.

  • Previous experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics or diagrams.

  • Previous experience performing carpentry, electrical, and plumbing tasks.

  • Previous experience painting, drywall and plaster tasks.

  • Previous experience installing, repairing. or removing flooring.
