ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\ Assisting customers by servicing, troubleshooting and installing Burglar Alarm, CCTV, Access Control Systems and Audio/Video Systems while meeting customer needs and expectations. Essential functions consist of the following but are not limited to:

  • Installing low voltage security systems in primarily commercial environments, construction environments and very small amount of residential environments
  • Troubleshooting and testing networking issues
  • Assist with programming various systems directed by the Companys Support Team
  • Setup structures (i.e. ladders, racks)
  • Terminating and installing end devices such as badge readers, mag locks, motion detectors, glass breaks, cameras, focusing camera lenses, big screen TVs, speakers, touchpads, etc.
  • Pulling cables, wires and other necessary preparation work to complete jobs
  • Adaptable and trainable on various security systems, manufacturer specs, etc.
  • Document work orders according to the Companys Work Order policy and use QuickBooks Time App and check emails every day
  • Honest and thorough documentation of all paperwork is a requirement while maintaining Company Confidentiality policies and standards
  • Maintain positive attendance and must be reliable in accordance with jobs that are scheduled to be completed
  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable and respectful customer service
  • General knowledge of electronics, components and devices

{=html} <!-- --> - Comply and follow all Safety Standards, Laws and Regulations at all times - Takes initiative by communicating with Support Team and Managers - Ability to work the on-call rotation as needed - Ability to work in various temperatures and working conditions, especially during the summer months when outside work is required - 2\> year experience in related industry for installation and service preferred - Must be able to pass a background and drivers license (MVR) check - Must obtain and keep current Arizona Alarm Agent License and any required Licenses required by law, if not already holding this license, must actively work on obtaining within first 90-days of employment - Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently - Professional in appearance and presentation, follow Company uniform policy at all times and lead by example, take pride to look professional and be professional - Ability to be an effective team member possessing strong productivity skills - May be required to work overtime without advance notice and must be able to work a flexible schedule - Good organizational skills - Maintain Company property in good working order - Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain - Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling - Frequent lifting and/or carry up to 65 pounds and push up to 100 pounds - Will be exposed to inclement weather or be required to work in environments or under conditions that require the use of protective equipment and devices and/or awareness of personal safety and safety of others - Must be able to maintain visual acuity and alertness for long periods of time including long periods of driving a motor vehicle - Provide your own basic hand tools per the Company standards
