Create detailed electrical designs, schematics, and layouts using computer-aided design (CAD) software; Develop and design electrical components and systems, including circuits, wiring diagrams, and control systems; Prepare detailed documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and user manuals; Maintain accurate records of design processes, revisions, and project progress; Ensure all electrical designs adhere to relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations; Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures in design processes; Work closely with other engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs; Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members; Design upgrades and modifications to existing electrical systems to improve performance or comply with new standards; Provide technical support for maintenance and troubleshooting of installed electrical systems; Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source electrical components and materials; Evaluate and select appropriate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery time; Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement; Integrate sustainable design practices and energy-efficient solutions into electrical systems; Utilize specialized software for electrical system simulation, analysis, and optimization.
