Nammo Defense Systems, Inc Warehouse Technician in Perry, Florida
JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Technician is responsible for the accurate and efficient accounting, storage, and movement of NPI’s raw materials and finished goods. The Warehouse Technician will also independently perform inventory picks, cycle counts and physical inventory, storage and movement of inventory, and shipments. The Warehouse Technician main goal is support NPI’s production departments while maintaining superior inventory management.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Effective and efficient movement of inventory and raw materials through the facility to support production needs.
Proficient use and operation of forklifts and other equipment necessary for inventory movement and storage.
Fulfil inventory picks for production without error.
Complete accurate cycle counts of inventory, as scheduled, with no error in record keeping.
Serve as backup for receiving in D365.
Serve as back up to the Tool Crib Coordinator.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Ability to operate and maintain forklift license.
Ability to read and preform basic math for inventory counting.
Ability to understand capability and net explosive weights/net explosive quantity to ensure full compliance.
Ability to understand the Materials Policies and Procedures for proper storage and movement of raw materials and finished goods.
Ability to work as a team to complete inbound and outbound shipping loading.
Knowledge of MS Project, MS Office, Great Plains, and Dynamics 365.
Must possess strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills and be capable of working in a team-based atmosphere that includes both manufacturing and office environments.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2 years’ experience in similar warehouse operations.
Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing and the ability to travel frequently.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Must submit to and pass a drug test pursuant to Company Drug-Free Workplace Policy which includes random testing.
Must have good vision (may be corrected).
Must have no known hearing loss (may be corrected).
Must be able to stand/walk/sit for prolonged periods of time.
Must have stamina to work more than the scheduled workday when needed, including nights and weekends.
Must be able to pick up, handle, and otherwise work paper.
