ETEL Transformers Transformer Technician in Perth, Australia

Based in Perth, Australia, this role is a significant part of the Australian Sales team reporting to the Sales and Service Specialist. The position involves direct refurb and repair work, site inspections, and testing on transformers as well as looking after the unloading, dispatch, and logistics requirements for the site and order entry functions.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years' practical experience in relation to Industrial Service delivery

• A high level of transformer industry experience, including testing and repair of transformers

• Very good understanding of engineering design drawings

• Ability to use problem-solving techniques i.e root cause analysis

• Able to follow through on Corrective Action Request (CAR), and raise quotations to customers for service repairs

• An intermediate level of computer literacy

• Confidence to work under pressure to resolve operational day to day issues

• Excellent communication skills

• A proactive, positive approach and a passion for improving the way things are done

• Knowledge and understanding of OH&S practises

• Forklift experience and licence

While not essential, the following skills are something that would also be ideal to have:

• Trade qualification in Electrical / Mechanical trades or Manufacturing industry
