Introduction
The z System services delivery manager role is the primary leadership role between the Delivery Project Executive and delivery services squad(s).
Your role and responsibilities
The z System services delivery manager role is the primary leadership role between the Delivery Project Executive and delivery services squad(s). They are the point of contact for the services performed by a defined services delivery squad(s). They manage all escalations, client contact requirements, and ensure services coverage by the squad. They ensure consistent services delivery meets the committed client quality outcomes, metrics and expectations for the services scope of the squad (relevant SLAs etc). They maintain the flow of work and manage all backlogs and they set priorities for the squad while working to remove hurdles and bottlenecks to work execution.
Problem Solving:
Recognizes complex problems related to functional objectives. Applies creativity and judgment to developmental work on different projects within the business environment. Analyzes situations and implement solutions, or develop new system elements, procedures or processes.
Impact on Business/Scope:
Accountable for department results and for activities and/or projects involving multi-functional teams.
Activities are subject to business measurements, impact customer satisfaction, and impact project costs or expenses. Regularly participates in overall functional program planning.
Required technical and professional expertise
Bachelor’s degree with >15 years of working experience. Experienced in managing IBM z platform environment & project management PMP certification.
