Job Title: IS Specialist - Procurement System Deployments

Salary Grade: £60,000 - £70,000

Location : Birchwood / Peterborough (Hybrid working pattern)

The Opportunity

This role is primarily responsible for Deployment, Supplier Enablement and Catalog Support in the EAME Region for Caterpillar Indirect Procurement systems supported by the GFSD Digital Excellence Team which Includes:

Primary Solutions:

  • Guided Buy – GEP SMART

  • NextGen – Coupa

Secondary Solutions:

  • Third Party Labor – IQ Navigator / Beeline

  • My Caterpillar Travel Expense (MCTE) – SAP Concur

  • Expense and Procurement Card Programs

What You Will Do:

This position will help support the internal Indirect Procurement organization as well as key stakeholders across the enterprise.

  • People: Works effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers at all levels.

  • Leadership: No direct reports. Will demonstrate advanced project management skills required to collect, compile, assimilate, communicate, and maintain information as required. Incumbent will assess and recommend solutions. Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards within this diverse global organization.

  • Strategy: Help customers with deployment, testing, communication, supplier enablement, catalog support, master data collection, training and hypercare related activities

What Skills You Have:

  • Experience: Role relevant experience within IT Systems, including database and middleware technologies, as well as experience Cloud Based ERP Deployments

  • Problem Solving:

  • Technology Advising

  • Application Design, Architecture

  • Requirements Analysis

  • System and Technology Integration:

  • System Testing

  • Technical Troubleshooting:

Top Candidate Will Also Have some of the following skills/experience:

  • Experience using a procurement platform - NextGen (Powered by Coupa) is preferred.

  • Knowledge of end-to-end Source-to-Pay business process.

  • Preferred that the incumbent is familiar with basic procurement and quality principles, procedures, and techniques.

  • Advanced Excel Pivot Tables and V-Lookups desired.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a dynamic environment.

  • Experience in Data Analytics and Reporting

Additional Information

  • Up to 30% Travel

  • No relocation package offered.

  • This role will be posted in other countries.
