Description

We are seeking a Human Resources Manager for an organization in the Lake Country, WI area. This role involves overseeing labor relations, benefits administration, and employee relations. The HR Manager will also be tasked with establishing a harmonious workplace environment while liaising directly with labor unions and implementing comprehensive benefits programs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage labor relations strategies, maintaining positive relationships with unions and mediating in any disputes.

• Oversee collective bargaining agreement negotiations, including comprehensive contract review, updates, mediation, and resolution of conflicts.

• Administer employee benefits programs, addressing employee questions or concerns and ensuring seamless benefits delivery and communication.

• Ensure Human Resources policies and procedures comply with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.

• Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate actions to address workplace grievances or policy violations.

• Participate in strategic decision-making, talent management, and other organizational development initiatives.

• Foster a positive work environment, focusing on employee engagement, satisfaction, and workplace harmony.

• Handle various aspects of labor relations, benefits administration, and employee relations.

• Maintain an understanding of union contracts and handle union grievances effectively.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Proficient in executing Benefit Functions and ensuring Compliance with relevant regulations

• Demonstrated ability to handle Employee Relations effectively and professionally

• Strong knowledge of Labor Relations and Union Contracts

• Experience in dealing with Union Grievances and implementing resolution strategies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred

• Professional certification in Human Resources (i.e., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus

• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws

• Proficient in HRIS and other HR-related software

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and diverse environment

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity

• Ability to strategize and implement HR processes that drive the company's goals

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience in conflict resolution

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
