Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Job Description
Seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to diagnose, service, and repair various systems on heavy equipment, including mechanical and computer electronic controls, transmissions, and pneumatic systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting malfunctions, repairing systems such as track drive sprockets, hydraulic systems, and hydrostatic transmissions, tuning diesel engines, and overhauling engines. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized work area and may include training lower-level workers in mechanical repair techniques.
Hard Skills
Experience with heavy machinery such as Excavators, Loaders, Paving Machines, and more
Proficiency in mechanical, diesel, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Soft Skills
Ability to troubleshoot and repair independently
Organizational skills
Training and mentoring capabilities
Job Type
This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Pflugerville, Texas.
Work Environment
Initial training in-shop followed by field assignments. The work environment is non-temperature controlled.
