The work we do here matters.Department OverviewThe Application Specialist Team Manager will be a working team member who can assist with lead tasks or application specialist tasks as needed.  The primary role for the manager is to support and assist the team by being an advocate, mentor, champion, planner and innovator.  The Manager will lead by example and project a "Can Do" - "People First" attitude.

The Manager will be responsible for overseeing scheduling, time card approval, expense report approval, yearly goals, performance managing and training. Responsibilities include

Working with Leads, PMs and RDMs to Schedule Resources

Approving Time Sheets

Approving Expense reports

Setting and Measuring team goals

Working with Team Leads to establish, change and maintain process and procedures

Provide training/coaching/mentor/counseling of team members

Detailed documentation

Developing training for team

Attending leadership and management training

Project Leadership

Initiative Leadership

Being a subject matter expert for assigned area (CAD/Mobile or GIS)

This position is a remote position and candidates can be located anywhere in the US.

This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers

5+ Experience with CAD/RMS/GIS Application.

Experience in management or leadership.

Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer.
