Our client is hiring a Research Technician to join their cutting-edge laboratory focused on core pathology components. Location: Philadelphia, PA
Pay: ($28.85/hr. - $33.65/hr.)
Type: Contract-to-hire
Responsibilities:
Must have sectioning and staining experience
Assist in identification, research, optimization, and implementation of animal and human tissue samples.
Basic histopathology, as well as histopathology for both paraffin-embedded and frozen tissue samples
Digital slide scanning services
Availability to work on a flexible schedule and willingness to work on this position for at least 18 months will be favored.
Qualifications:
HS, AS or BS coupled with 6+ months of hands-on lab experience within clinical and histology
Very good interpersonal skills are required to interact with small lab staff
Strong technical skills; excellent computer skills.
