Job Summary

Join our exceptional team and play a key role in creating unparalleled customer experiences powered by the Xfinity Assistant. Xfinity Assistant is our preferred method for delivering a self-service way for our customers to get help with whatever they need, when and where they need it across several platforms. As a member on the team, you will take on the responsibility of crafting experiences using JavaScript and Java, as well as developing new interactions within our custom-built tools. This role offers the unique opportunity to collaborate with diverse engineering teams across the business, as well as with product and UX designers, contributing to vital work that is crucial to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Utilize agile software development methodologies and demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Python, GoCD, Github, and Java.

  • Leverage 3-5 years of development experience to effectively communicate and collaborate with both individual and team projects.

  • Experience working with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) to review, debug and monitor web applications.

  • Demonstrate the ability to comprehend complex systems, offer insights for improvement, and actively contribute to a cohesive team culture.

  • Evaluate and plan software designs, test results and technical documentation.

  • Apply knowledge of both public and private cloud technologies to analyze integration needs and plan software designs, test results, and technical documentation.

  • Program new software and web applications, and provide support for applications under development and customization of existing applications.

  • Edit and review technical requirements documentation, working closely with the Quality Assurance and Product teams to ensure alignment with specifications and technical requirements.

  • Exhibit deep knowledge and practical application of engineering methodologies, concepts, and skills within the specified engineering specialty.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in process design and redesign, as well as project management skills.

  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
