DUTIES: Contribute to a team responsible for the development and operations of enterprise master data assets; perform data exploration and analysis using SQL; move data to and from Teradata; use Jira boards in an Agile development environment; perform data analysis, data reporting, and data engineering using Tableau, Looker, and AWS; write Python scripts to schedule jobs for ETL processes; script and automate jobs; use Kubernetes containers to deploy jobs; utilize Databricks to build reports and perform ETL jobs; build and deploy packages with SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio; create internal technical documentation using understanding of internal business areas and processes as well as working knowledge of database design, data manipulation, ETL, implementation, information storage & retrieval and data flow & analysis; recognize and resolve technical issues utilizing knowledge of policies and processes; optimize data sources and processing rules to ensure appropriate data quality of all products utilizing trouble-shooting, design and development skills along with cross systems technical knowledge; solve critical issues and share knowledge such as trends, aggregate, quantity volume regarding specific data sources; understand other business units and how they affect the team and work; act as a liaison between business owners and technical associates to ensure the data collected and processed is both actionable and relevant to the end goals; determine appropriateness of data for storage and optimum storage organization; determine how tables relate to each other and how fields interact within the tables to develop relational models; and collaborate with technology and platform management partners to optimize data sourcing and processing rules to ensure appropriate data quality. Position is eligible for 100% remote work.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience performing data exploration and analysis using SQL; moving data to and from Teradata; using Jira boards in an Agile development environment; performing data analysis, data reporting, and data engineering using Tableau, Looker, and AWS; writing Python scripts to schedule jobs for ETL processes; using Look ML to create semantic data models on datasets; of which one (1) year includes scripting and automating jobs; using Kubernetes containers to deploy jobs; utilizing Databricks to build reports and perform ETL jobs; and building and deploying packages with SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio.
