Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Phoenix, Arizona
Description We are looking for a Cash Application Specialist to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately processing and posting cash transactions, managing lockbox and ACH transactions, ensuring timely and accurate cash application, and conducting thorough data entry tasks. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to possess exceptional accuracy skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process and post cash transactions
• Manage lockbox and ACH transactions
• Ensure timely and accurate cash application
• Conduct thorough data entry tasks
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments
• Resolve customer credit inquiries
• Maintain the financial integrity of our operations
• Contribute to the success of our commercial flooring endeavors
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to track and organize data
• Maintain high level of organization and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Requirements • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a cash handling or customer service role is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Must meet deadlines and balance multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience with financial software or systems is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions
• Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes or tasks.
