Position Summary

SolomonEdwards is looking for a Mortgage Processor and Mortgage Closer with our client in Phoenix, AZ. This person will act as a key contributor to facilitate efficient and effective processes that support business and customer service objectives. Responsibilities may be limited within a specific function/channel or across functions/channels.

Responsibilities:

Performing routine data entry and validation tasks

Initiating third party orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood cert, credit, etc.)

Reviewing and validating loan documents

Handling routine calls, emails and/or chat responses

Assigning and distributing work loads

Monitoring work queues and intervening as needed

Interacting with multiple departments to expedite processing and/or issue resolution

Performing other related duties as required and assigned

Position Requirements

High School diploma or GED

3 years of experience in processing or closing

Onsite in Phoenix, AZ

$22/hour

Other Requirements:

Complete understanding of Fannie and Freddie investor guidelines and requirements

Processing/Underwriting experience to the level of debt to income assessment, credit and income evaluation

Excellent critical thinking, time management and communication skills

General understanding of applicable Federal, State and Local regulations

Salary range $22.00/hr W2. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
