Responsibilities Job Summary Supervise the Pulmonary Hypertension Program's general operations including, but not limited to, program development, scheduling, quality monitoring, education and competency validation. Institute and participate in quality and safety initiatives to identify problem areas and research concerns. Develop positive solutions and ensures performance initiatives are up to date and in compliance with accreditation. Responsible for achieving and maintaining accreditation. Supervise, plan, develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate the care provided to the Pulmonary Hypertension Program's patients. Provide leadership to a multidisciplinary staff to ensure that all individuals are meeting the short and long term professional and program goals, while supporting the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Serve as a liaison between department and facilities, meeting regularly with management of hospital departments to facilitate a well-coordinated program of care for all Pulmonary Hypertension patients. Development, implementation, and successful sustainment of Pulmonary Hypertension Program for network. Review patients for modality of care and make recommendations as to whether patient meets criteria for therapy. Select and administer the appropriate care, taking into consideration the age, size, developmental level, clinical and physiological needs of the patient. Develops and help to administer program processes, policies and procedures. Develop metrics to determine success of both new and established processes. Ensure that policies, procedures, order sets, educational materials, and data monitoring are accurate and current at all times. Oversee the staff and ensure adequate staffing levels, inclusive of hiring/onboarding, evaluating, managing performance, coaching and developing employees ensuring employee productivity, quality of work, and alignment of goals with our mission, vision, and values. Ensure compliance with all policies, financial stewardship by being accountable for the financial integrity. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field Required Experience 5 years Supervisory experience Required Licenses and Certifications Registered Nurse (RN) State And/Or Compact State Licensure Required Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
