Job Title: Skilled Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled laborer for our 1st shift which runs from 6am - 2:30pm. Openness to working on Saturdays as needed is a must. All applicants should be prepared to get a framing hammer and wear steel toe boots. Pay typically ranges from $20 - $26 an hour, based on experience, with potential for higher earnings. As a skilled laborer, you will be part of a team assembling trusses or wall sections for various construction projects. You will be required to verify the size of precut wood parts and move them into position by hand, forklift, or crane. You will also utilize a framing hammer and staple gun/nail gun to secure metal pieces into wood.

Hard Skills

  • Experience with a framing hammer and staple gun/nail gun

  • Ability to verify the size of precut wood parts

  • Proficiency in moving specific wood pieces into position by hand, forklift, or crane

  • HAVING EXPERIENCE WITH TRUSS

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Tampa, Florida.

Work Environment

You will be working in a clean new facility with an indoor/outdoor shop environment. Please note that the environment is VERY INDUSTRIAL.
