Join Our Team as a Packaging Technician (Night Shift) in Piney Flats, Tennessee! Are you looking for a challenging role where your attention to detail and dedication to quality shine? We're seeking a Packaging Technician to join our dynamic team on the night shift. Key Responsibilities: - Safely follow procedures to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded. - Accurately complete all required paperwork associated with production. - Monitor and maintain the quality of materials and final products throughout the production process. - Catch, inspect, wrap, press, and label finished bags from the machines. - Utilize knowledge to select appropriate pallets and cut cardboard as needed for packaging. - Collaborate effectively within a team environment. - Provide relief for breaks to catchers/inspectors or operators. - Assist the Weber Operator in equipment setup and operation. - Load supply rolls of paper onto the machine as required during production. - Review production orders to ensure packaging instructions are followed accurately. - Perform routine housekeeping to uphold a clean and safe work environment. - Understand and lockout/tagout procedures. - Demonstrate a positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow. - Fulfill additional duties as assigned by supervisor, maintaining compliance with all company policies and procedures. Responsibilities

• Following procedures to safely meet customer expectations

• Complete required paperwork accurately

• Monitoring results and ensuring the quality of material and final products before leaving the work area

• Inspect bags coming off of bag machine for defects such as loose or torn edges or wrinkles, missing or

• misapplied glue, misprinted bags, color variation and inaccurate registration or ink smears

• Notify operating personnel of defects

• Locate and removes defective bags from conveyor, stacking tables or pallets

• Ability to train others

• Ability to comprehend Spec Sheets

• Ability to perform work accurately with attention to detail.
