Job Title: Structures Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Structures Mechanic. Your primary responsibility will be installing various aftermarket kits, performing both major and minor repairs and alterations to aircraft structure which includes sheet metal and composite repairs and fabrications. Additionally, you will be tasked with fabricating mounting provisions for avionics installations and executing tasks in accordance with multiple manufacturers’ drawings and instructions. You will also be required to measure, drill, and modify aircraft structures without causing damage to structure or underlying components. Other duties include assisting in washing and detailing aircraft, and flight line duties which includes removing main rotor blades from aircraft. It is important to accurately and consistently document work performed in the work order book. You will be part of a team working together to ensure quality and timely completions of aircraft to meet an aggressive schedule. You must demonstrate safe work habits and always wear proper PPE, with the ability to perform most tasks with little to no rework. You may also be assigned other tasks as needed.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Piney Flats, Tennessee.

Work Environment

This role requires adherence to safe work practices, including proper PPE. You will be part of a team working together to meet specific schedules. This role may involve physical activities such as removing main rotor blades from aircraft and assisting in washing and detailing aircraft. You must also be capable of performing most tasks with little to no rework.
