Job Title: Machine Operator II

Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating production machines, ensuring the bundling of steel post-production, and transporting it to designated areas. Your role involves maintaining a clean work environment, handling machine setups and changeovers, accumulating products, and ensuring quality control through precise measurements. You will also learn to operate a Jib crane and assist with inline welding processes. Your responsibilities extend to maintaining machine cleanliness, assisting in basic maintenance, and managing production supplies to prevent inefficiencies. Safety is paramount, and you will need to adhere to all safety practices and procedures.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in PITTSBURG, California.

Work Environment

This role operates in an industrial manufacturing environment within a large facility with 11 production lines. It involves a regular schedule of 2:30pm-11:15pm with a $20.50/hour compensation plus a $1 shift differential. Training occurs from 5am-1:45pm with the shift differential included. The environment can be loud and varies in temperature, appropriate protective gear will be provided. Punctuality and regular attendance are crucial to success in this role.
