Counsel, Commercial - 111824

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Arconic is currently in search of Legal Counsel, Commercial to join our Legal Team in Pittsburgh, PA or Alcoa, TN.

RESPONSIBILITIES Primary Responsibilities  * Providing commercial advice and dispute support to commercial and procurement professionals. * Draft, edit and negotiate various commercial and procurement contracts and other documents. * Provide preventive law training to business and resource unit professionals. * Revise or establish relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions * Support senior level attorneys on significant commercial matters, including commercial litigation as needed. * Support M&A activity on an as-needed basis

QUALIFICATIONS Basic Qualifications  * Law degree (JD) from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) and is currently a member in good standing of the bar of a State, a Territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia. * Minimum seven years' related experience as a practicing lawyer.     Preferred Qualifications  * Experience as a practicing lawyer working for a corporate legal department or law firm focusing on commercial contracting. * Previous in-house experience strongly preferred.  * Experience with commercial technology transactions.
